Traditionally, the South Park Theatre opens once in winter for a heartwarming Winter Café. Especially for everyone in the neighbourhood who could use another boost in these dark days. Admission is of course free and there are all sorts of fun surprises! With a mini(ma)market led by Aleid Hagemeijer, a free cup of soup from the Participation Kitchen and lots of short shows, music and workshops. Come along: it costs nothing and is fun. Do put on something warm, because we are also an open-air theatre in winter.
The Fountain of Love
You will be engulfed by La Fuente del Amor: an inexhaustible fountain of love during this mini-theatre performance in Circusdome's mini theatre. The fountain has filled the lives of many people with eternal love and romance. And remember, the more love you get, the more capable you are of giving love too.

Slide by the window, let your story go and reach out to Eva. She will immediately transform it into a poem that will be included in your sweet archive, typed out by hand. Because even the most beautiful moments deserve a monument in language. Eva stitches your words together into a rhyme for someone else - or yourself; as a memento in a guest book, as a gift to someone you love or simply because in this way you capture in language what should not be lost (and you can go home with your own poem).
Soothsayer Mathilda Sliert
Frans Custers plays the story of the flipped Marthilda, who engages in conspicuous hobbies in everyday life. Usually the craziest things happen, hilarity takes over and the tent shakes and smokes!
Pompage
Gipsy swing, Early Swing, Pompe Manouche, Western swing: the best music from the first half of the last century was played all over the world well into the 1940s. With Pompage, Wilco Spaans (guitar and vocals), Bert Tielens (violin and vocals), Eli 't Hart (accordion/piano) and Peter Rotteveel (double bass) take you back to the Chicago and Paris of the early 1930s: cheerful, convivial music that won't make anyone sit still.
Workshops Museon-Omniversum Southwest
As Christmas is almost here, we are unwrapping with a MuseumLab Christmas edition. Make your own Cloud Lamp for the dark days. Transform a bath duck into a bauble and light up our homemade Christmas tree.
Mini(ma)market led by Aleid Hagemeijer
Aleid has been collecting again in recent months to provide households and families in need with something extra. Especially for the Winter Café, this market will be set up. Please note: while stocks last.
