The big birthday starts at noon, we will stay cosy in the theatre. We will picnic on stage, you can indulge in the children's karaoke and you can come and freerun with Antoneal.
**WEEKLY: 10am - 12pm**
In the morning we will prepare the party with you, the Holiday Park will open one more time. Come and listen to Cathy read to you one last time, join the morning gymnastics, craft your own crown, get your face painted and make your picnic kit (please note reservations).
Order your ticket for the picnic package. €3.50 incl service charge per person, Stork Pass free. The picnic package includes sandwiches, fruit and a drink. Unfortunately, due to expected crowds, we cannot accommodate dietary requirements.
MIDDAY: 12- 2 pm THE GREATEST YEARNING DAY OF THE YEAR
During the summer holidays, many stories were collected in Super Moon. We will now give the park its gift. A musical ode, with stories and sounds from the children of the Zuiderpark. All these sounds and voices were made into a true musical piece by composer Sophie Jurrjens (Rewire). This piece of music will be performed with a live musician for the first time and 'given' to the Zuiderpark! Two special guests will receive it. We continue the afternoon programme on the large covered stage in the theatre. We decorate the area, lay out picnic blankets and build our party with a children's karaoke and freerunning with Antoneal.
[NOTE: THIS PROGRAMME SECTION HAS BEEN DROPPED].
Then it's time for the GREATEST BOUND OF THE YEAR with all of us in a big PARADE to the big field in the middle of the park. The four-metre-high Super Moon is shining on a carriage made special for today and is being pulled by youngsters wearing disco helmets. We have invited Company with Balls to lead the procession. It is a swinging parade, an unmissable eye-catcher with two 4-metre-high figures. A giant marionette, dances in tandem with Atharina. This charming lady moves gracefully on a man-sized ball of almost 2 metres!
Put on festive clothes!
Do you have your own picnic blanket? Bring it along!

Rewire and Outreach
Rewire is an annual international music festival that not only offers new forms of
music presents but also various ways of experiencing music. Whether through
film, performance, concert or dialogue. Rewire believes in inclusivity and diversity. Other
stories, backgrounds and worlds enrich the festival's outlook. Rewire aims to bring people
reach those for whom it is less obvious to experience arts and culture. People who
not automatically encounter music festivals, such as Rewire.
Sophie Jurrjens (b. 1992) is a composer interested in merging music with
the area. After completing her bachelor's degree at the Utrecht Conservatory of Music,
she graduated from the ArtScience interfaculty at the Royal
Conservatorium/Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague. To give people the
power of music, Sophie has developed the Off-Track app. Off-Track
Transforms going outside into an experience by adding music to a
walking route. In collaboration with Rewire, Sophie has several compositions and
soundwalks developed for various places in The Hague such as the
Laaktheater, De Centrale Bibliotheek and Theatre and Filmhuis Dakota.
Company with Balls
The Company was founded in 2005 by Marjolein Wagter, acrobat and Gilles Candela, French acrobat who had been part of Les Grandes Personnes, a puppet theatre company with giant puppets from Paris. Starting out as an acrobatic duo, they later worked together to develop the act 'Join the parade'; a dance between a Ballerina on a man-sized ball and giant puppet. In 2007, Gilles quit the company and Marjolein continued to expand.
Grofweg Architecten consists of Damian and Killian van der Velden. They develop projects from an autonomously oriented basis and work on commission with a cross-over system. In projects, they tend to work intuitively and use In situ (material present in the environment) with which they set up a site -specific work. Think of land -art, -marks, installation art, placemaking, interiors and exteriors, experience, stage art and architecture.
