In 2004, Franz Ferdinand conquered the music scene with their debut album, which won both the Mercury Music Prize and the legendary hit 'Take Me Out' spawned. After five successful studio albums with songs like 'No You Girls' and 'Love Illumination', the band built a huge live reputation. Their sixth album, 'The Human Fear', revolves around the theme of fear, with a fresh dynamic thanks to new members Julian Corrie and Dino Bardot. Franz Ferdinand stay true to their raw sound, with fast and spontaneous recordings. Still a favourite in the indie scene, they combine synthpop and glam rock in hits like 'Mattinée' and 'This Fire'.
