The Boxer Rebellion is a British indie band that has been active for over 20 years and is known worldwide for their intense, melancholic sound and quirky musical approach. With compelling melodies and emotional depth, they have managed to build a loyal fan base both in the UK and far beyond. The band also has a strong following in the Netherlands and regularly gets airplay on radio stations such as NPO Radio 1 and 2, NPO 3FM and KINK.

The band broke through internationally with their pioneering status as the first independent band to reach the Billboard Top 100 with an all-digital release. Albums like Union, The Cold Still and especially Promises, which includes the big hit Diamonds, have only reinforced their reputation as masterful songwriters. Live, their music takes on an extra charge, making them a beloved name on stages worldwide.

Robin Kester moves musically somewhere between pop, electronic music and psychedelic rock. The Dutch artist, composer and producer is known for her adventurous and layered sound. Her music is often compared to that of Portishead, Broadcast and Julia Holter, but Kester has developed a voice and style all her own. With her debut album Honeycomb Shades she managed to impress immediately: the album was praised by critics and awarded best Dutch album of the year by both NRC and de Volkskrant.
