Accessibility
Zuiderparktheater is located on an island in the middle of Zuiderpark. The park has several entrances: on Vreeswijkstraat, Loevesteinlaan, Melis Stokelaan and Veluweplein. You can take any entrance and follow the signs 'Open Air Theatre'.
The easiest way to find us is to enter the park through the car park on Mr P. Drooglever Fortuynweg near the swimming pool. You will then walk straight to our gate. If you want to use your smartphone to find us, key in Mr P. Drooglever Fortuynweg 59. Note that this will take you to the Zwembad Zuiderpark instead of the Zuiderparktheater. But then all you have to do is walk into the park.
Public transport
Zuiderpark can be reached from both Central Station and Holland Spoor by tram 9 and 16 (stop Zuiderpark/Melis Stokelaan) or by bus 23 (stop Loevesteinlaan) and 26 (stop Moerweg). You can reach the theatre if you enter the park through the car park on Mr P. Drooglever Fortuynweg near the swimming pool. You then walk straight to the entrance of the Zuiderparktheater.
Cars and bicycles
We recommend coming to the South Park Theatre by bike or public transport.
If you do want to come by car, the Zuiderparktheater can be reached via the Melis Stokelaan/Aagje Dekenlaan roundabout. There are three parking spaces in the park, namely at the entrances on Veluweplein and Melis Stokelaan (at the Melis Stokelaan/Aagje Dekenlaan roundabout). For the car park closest to the theatre, enter Mr P. Drooglever Fortuynweg 59 into your GPS (note: this will take you to Zwembad Zuiderpark instead of Zuiderparktheater). Walk into the park from there. You can also park in the car park on Leyweg & Hengelolaan. Please note that it will take some time to walk to the theatre (entrance Marie Heinenweg). To park your bicycle, there are a (limited) number of bicycle racks near the theatre. More bicycle racks are located in front of the swimming pool in Mr P. Drooglever Fortuynweg or at the Sportcampus. It is not allowed to bring bicycles or scooters onto the premises.
