Press release: Latin in the Park travels on to Brazil

On Saturday 9 September, Latin in the Park will take you to the land of the Copacabana, Samba and the world's biggest carnival! After a fantastic two previous editions, this summer's Latin journey ends in Brazil. Featuring the Netherlands' most famous Samba band, Roda da Holanda Fantine Tho, singer and former member of Brazilian girl group Rouge, will be the evening's hostess.

Roda da Holanda, will dedicate the evening to iconic artists from the Samba world with songs by Beth Carvalho, Alcione, Arlindo Cruz, Jorge Ben Jor and more! To loosen the hips in advance, we will start the evening with a rousing Samba workshop by Lita Morena. Then the party will start with Roda da Holanda and DJ Mano Fred!

Practical information

There will be food trucks on site, atmospheric seating areas and ice-cold drinks. Buy your tickets á €16,- p.p. For Ooiervaarspas holders it is €7,50. The theatre island in the Zuiderpark opens from 18:00. It is an 18+ event. 

About Latin the Hague

Latin The Hague is a young, Hague-based events organisation run by Daniël Patanduk and Rischell Dhanpal. Their aim is to organise Latin-American dance and music culture events in The Hague and surrounding areas. Events that are accessible and low-threshold, where everyone is welcome to dance and enjoy Latin-American dance and music.
