More than 350 people attended the Summer Café XL at the Zuiderpark Theatre last Saturday. A special day organised by the open-air theatre with Minimahulp 070. Besides the Repair Café where broken appliances and clothes were given a new life, there was Repair Kid for kids. Products such as clothes, bread, fresh fruit, menstrual products and pet food were available at the summer market. Theatre act Schrott provided a fun variety on the premises. A new look was provided at Sparkle in Style's beauty salon. There was soup by the Partipation Kitchen and poffertjes. Djs Michael and Martin and singer Leo Twin completed the day. The closing raffle with great summer prizes from cinema tickets to sunburns were the icing on the cake. The South Park Theatre also regularly opens the gate to people from the neighbourhood. In the summer holidays, the Holiday Park is back with six weeks of sports, games and activities for children.
