This Saturday, the South Park Theatre will open its doors again. After its winter hibernation, the city's summer theatre is once again ready for a jam-packed season. Spread over almost 60 days, (inter)national musicians, bands, orchestras, circus performers and the hundreds of theatre volunteers will make it a top summer for everyone. What will be the highlight this year? Snacking on a story in a life-size chip tray, Tchaikovsky's Romeo & Juliet by the Residentie Orkest or enchanting sounds of Birdy at Zuiderpark Live? Saturday, the gate opens at 7pm for The Waterboys' first open-air concert. The last tickets are flying away!
"Na the chores and maintenance in the wind and rain, the sun is starting to shine again and the theatre is really coming back to life. All the volunteers are ready and eager to welcome visitors again. With a bright and fantastic programme at the Zuiderpark Theatre, we are looking forward to another unforgettable summer!" said the volunteer coordinator.
