Will you join us on an excursion to Farmer's Village? Boerendorp is a secret place in the Zuiderpark where a lot of vegetables are grown, especially for the food bank. The farmers could use some help. Will you come along to help us?
We will sow, hoe and weed together - but there are also extra special garden chores on the programme this summer.

For example, join us on a discovery tour to investigate how many insects and other small animals live in and around the garden. Help build toad and hedgehog houses so they can help us hunt snails. Or make an insect hotel: because insects are also super handy helpers in the garden!

In short: there is plenty to do at the Farm - even for those who like nature and a bit of adventure.

Info on ticket sales:
For this excursion, participation is free but a ticket reservation is necessary. We will gather at the South Park Theatre and there we will be picked up by the farmer's wife from the Farmer's Village. It is a short 10-minute walk. The farm has limited paved paths. Afterwards, you will be taken back to the theatre.

About the farming village
Boerendorp is a new sustainable project led by Natasja Koendjbiharie in Zuiderpark where vegetables are grown with local residents for the food bank.

*This activity is part of the South Park Holiday Park: Between Monday 21 July to Thursday 28 August, summer fun for young and old, with performances, children's craft garden, park library, workshops and more. For the ultimate holiday feeling, there will be an ever-changing (free) programme on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for six weeks throughout the summer holidays.
