ADDRESS: Henriette Roland Holstweg 100, The Hague

The Zuiderparktheater is located on a small island, in the middle of the Zuiderpark. The park has several entrances: on the Vreeswijkstraat, Loevesteinlaan, Melis Stokelaan and the Veluweplein. You can take any entrance and follow the signs 'Openluchttheater'. The easiest way to find us is if you enter the park via the parking lot on the Mr. P. Drooglever Fortuynweg near the swimming pool. You then walk straight towards our entrance.

If you are using your smartphone to find us, please enter Mr. P. Drooglever Fortuynweg 59. Please note: you will end up at the Zuiderpark Swimming Pool instead of the Zuiderparktheater. But then you only have to walk into the park.

Public transport

The Zuiderpark can be reached from Central Station and Holland Spoor by trams 9 (stop Zuiderpark) and 16 (stop Loevesteinlaan) or by buses 23 (stop Loevesteinlaan) and 26 (stop Moerweg). You reach the theater, if you enter the park via the parking lot on the Mr. P. Drooglever Fortuynweg near the swimming pool. You then walk straight to the entrance of the Zuiderparktheater.

Bicycle & scooter

To park your (bin) bike & scooter, there are a (limited) number of bike bins near the theatre. More bike bins are in front of the swimming pool in the Mr. P. Drooglever Fortuynweg or at the Sportcampus. It is not allowed to bring bicycles or scooters onto the site. Please keep the road clear for emergency services.

Cars and parking

We recommend coming to the Zuiderparktheater by bike or public transport. Do you want to come by car? You can park in one of the car parks on the Leyweg. This is about a 10-minute walk to the theatre.

Leyweg car park 1, address: Leyweg 791
Administrator Q-park: You can drive in until 9.30pm and drive out 24 hours a day.   (info)

Leyweg car park 2, address: Hengelolaan 170Z
Administrator P1: You can enter and exit it until 9.30pm. Please note after 9.30pm you cannot exit. (info)

The Zuiderparktheater can also be reached by car via the Melis Stokelaan/Aagje Dekenlaan roundabout, but the number of parking spaces here is very limited.

Disabled Facilities

The Zuiderparktheater is wheelchair accessible and has an adapted toilet. Disabled people may take a place in their wheelchair in a specially adapted space in front of the grandstand. We would like it if you register your arrival in advance with info@zuiderparktheater.nl.We will then ensure that there is someone to guide you in the theatre.
