The Dancers comes to whet the appetite for dance with Broekies: a performance, after-party and dance workshop all in one. At its heart is the short dance duet created by Collective MAMM (Maxime Abbenhues and Mees Meeuwes) at the invitation of De Dansers.

Garments flutter on the washing line, ready to be put on. But all those sleeves, buttons and zips seem to have a will of their own. Fortunately, there is someone there who says, "let me help you". And suddenly getting dressed becomes an adventure.

With acrobatic dance and spectacular partner work, the dancers throw and catch themselves through mountains of clothing. They pull each other into jumpers, wrestle into shirts and fumble with trouser legs. And that big coat? The two of us might fit into that! And when the buttons close or the zip goes up, it feels like everything falls into place, just like you.

Immediately after the short dance performance, you will engage in a conversation with the dancers. What did you see? Thought? Felt? Do you recognise what someone else is saying? Then it's time to move yourself, together with the dancers. Under the guidance of a professional dance teacher, you can use all the inspiration and energy you have gained up to that point.
