Ten years of Young Metropole: that calls for a musical party of stature. Especially for this anniversary, the young musicians present a sample of the Metropole Orchestra's rich repertoire - from sultry jazz numbers to swinging symphonic classics. Led by Jochen Neuffer, you will hear a mix of innovative arrangements and timeless compositions by Vince Mendoza, Bill Dobbins and Maria Schneider, among others.

Unique to this evening is the premiere of a brand new composition by Suzan Veneman, winner of the Rogier van Otterloo Award 2024, written especially for Jong Metropole.

About Young Metropole
Jong Metropole is the orchestra where young classical and young jazz meet. Since 2015, it has offered a stage to the most promising musicians from Dutch conservatoires. Every year, these talents prove how inspiring the collaboration between different musical worlds can be.
