Ruth Jacott has long been an integral part of the Dutch music industry. Hits such as Lean On Me, Heartbeat and Stay With Me followed after her breakthrough with Peace during the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. Apart from being an appreciated singer, Ruth Jacott also emerged as the true theatre icon she is today. After many theatre tours with her own repertoire, Latin repertoire and tributes to her musical heroines from soul and jazz, Ruth Jacott performed her first musical show in an open-air theatre two years ago, which left her wanting more. This year she and her band will perform at the Zuiderparktheater.
