The 2024 summer holidays are coming to an end sooner than you think. End it with a spectacle. On Thursday 22 August, the company Circumstances, led by Piet van Dycke, will perform a crazy show on the big stage of the Zuiderparktheater. Together with 2Samen, everyone can come and enjoy this crazy finale to the last Holiday Park Day. After the performance, we will close with DJ Mookie with a festive disco. About Exit
'EXIT' is an exciting, highly impressive and physical circus and dance performance. For this show, choreographer Piet Van Dycke invites four circus performers, each specialising in a different discipline (bascule, straps, trapeze and acro dance). "No everyone without me, no me without the other. In a large, impressive installation with a rotating wall and floating doors, four people move in and through space. They chase each other, walking, colliding, climbing, carrying and balancing. They come and leave, meet and leave, appear and disappear. As humans, we are always moving forward anyway. But what if you are always 'on the move' and can never get home anywhere? And do you move alone or as a group? In their quest for independence, they need each other more than ever. They keep each other in balance, but also unbalance each other. A flirtation with risk..."
Last week Holiday Park
Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 August are already the last holiday park days of the year. Tuesday starts with reading aloud in Dutch and Arabic and then there is everything from toddler dance to crafts, a Verloot je Zooitje rubber boat, sports with Antoneal and Brass Band workshop. The Children's Council of Moerwijk is also organising a games afternoon this afternoon. Wednesday starts with reading aloud in Dutch and Spanish, after which you can join the forester on the island or go on an excursion to the Farmer's Village/ Miles O'Brien comes to sing songs and there is one more lunch with Aicha and Rosa and you can dance with Moerwijk Moves. On Thursday, before the show, you can do crafts again with Fré and Els, and the Young Entrepreneurs will also make shaved ice.
