South Park Theatre's summer holiday programme broke loose yesterday. Thousands of children dropped by on the kick-off day with the Holiday Pass. From now on, for six weeks there will be all kinds of things to do at the 'Zuiderpark Holiday Park' for everyone aged 2 to 12. Creative workshops, nature excursions, bizarre art installations and, of course, fun family shows. A big surprise was also revealed before the hip-hop show Frenk the Snail by Rico (Opgezwolle) and Dries (Typhoon). On Prince's Day, 17 September, The Crows will present their first Kids Show on the main stage. The Holiday Park is free* to visit every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday until Thursday 22 August.
Exclusive kids' show
With the huge success of singles such as 'Ik Vind Je Lekker' and 'Pechvogel', it is impossible to imagine the The Hague and national music scene without De Kraaien. Now it is time for the new generation to enjoy a De Kraaien live show as well. Bernd Gansebev and his crew add surprisingly unique elements to a show, with high-level chaos guaranteed. Ticket sales for the exclusive show on Prinsjesdag at 15.30 have started via zuiderparktheater.nl/kraaien.
New: Giga holiday park exit EXIT by Circumstances
This year for the first time a closing day, with the performance EXIT by Piet Van Dycke in cooperation with Kinderopvang 2Samen. This award-winning show full of acrobatics, dance and balance has already played to packed halls at Oerol and Circusstad Rotterdam. Four circus artists perform a unique mix of bascule, straps, trapeze and acro dance. The show received 4 stars from the Volkskrant, NRC and De Standaard.
