This summer, Zuiderparktheater organises three dazzling 'mini festivals' together with Hague music icon Michael Varekamp & The Legends. Three sultry summer evenings where sparks fly and masterful musicians are challenged to push their boundaries.
Together with up-and-coming professionals, DJ collective Tabass-Co, food trucks and more, the Zuiderpark Theatre will be transformed into an inspiring festival site. Imagine an evening at legendary places like Woodstock or The Isle of Wight. The festivals are on Friday 15 July (Hammond Vibes), Friday 26 August (Soul Vibes), Saturday 24 September (Miles Vibes). The first in the series has the theme Hammond Vibes. Roaring organ violence with three of the Netherlands' best Hammond organists and well-known horns. This young ska & reggae band from The Hague pays tribute to the recently deceased Henny Vrienten of Doe Maar. At DJ Collective Tabass-Co, sparkling beats come together with live music. Come and dance until the sun goes down!
On Friday 15 July, expect Michael Varekamp, Hans Dulfer, Wiboud Burkens, Bas van Lier, Folkert Oosterbeek, Vallkoen and Tabass-co with DJs Soulslammer & Moussa and the live percussion of Via Monro.
There will be food trucks on site for the ultimate festival atmosphere. Tickets €10 p.p. and for Stork Pass 50% discount.
