Erik de Jong, better known as Spinvis, has in twenty years become one of the most unique artists in Dutch pop music. After his successful debut in 2002, he released albums such as Days of Grass, Days of Straw (2005) and the No. 1 album 7.6.9.6. (2020), which invariably appeared in annual lists. Using unusual instruments and poetic, dreamy lyrics, Spinvis creates a sound of his own. In 2025, he brings his full band to the theatre.
