Splendid has been a well-known player in Europe for almost 25 years. Since 2001, the band has been active within the (inter)national pop scene with shows at Lowlands, Zwarte Cross, Sziget, Paaspop, Trafalgar Squar and Fusion Festival Berlin, among others. Splendid guarantees an unprecedented live experience. Frontman Pat Smith whips up the crowd until the roof flies off and with Sicco van Grieken (guitar), Bart Kerckhoff (bass), Sven van Wijk (drums) and Jens Kerkhoff (percussion) as an ironclad rhythm section, there is a foundation of reinforced concrete. When horn players Jort and Bart Goderie together with Don Niekamp (keys) bring the melody to life, there is no escape. The band from The Hague are purveyors of sunshine from your speakers and their album "Reality Check" - released in 2024 - is once again full of positive vibes.
