Every year on the third Tuesday in September, it is an important day in The Hague. It is Prinsjesdag! This year, it is on Tuesday 17 September. That means all Hague schoolchildren are free. In the city, the king, queen and Princess Amalia ride in the glass carriage to the Royal Theatre. The king reads the speech from the throne. Important people come in their finest clothes and hats to listen. The finance minister brings a briefcase with the plans for taxpayers' money to the House of Representatives.

On our island, we celebrate this extra day off with Prince's Day in the park!
As in the summer holidays, we are going to "look after the little ones". We are rigging up the Holiday Park one more time this year and invite you to a free accessible programme. Workshops and ongoing activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. At 3.30 p.m. there will also be a performance by none other than The Crows Kids Show! (6+)
