Trapeze show, blizzard and Mediterranean children's songs
The Holiday Week already attracted nearly 3,000 visitors to the theatre island in Zuiderpark during the first three weeks of the summer holidays. Several unique activities are planned in the 4th 5th and 6th Holiday Weeks from 2 August. How about an excursion to the farming village, a magic closet and a trapeze show? Dive into a snowstorm or dream away to Mediterranean children's songs.
"The Zuiderpark Holiday Park has been a great success again this year. Right from the opening day, many families from The Hague knew where to find us. Visitors also stick around all day, making it a real day out. Thanks to our fantastic partners and volunteers, it really is a great place to be,'' says Annemarie de Bruijn, programme manager.

EXCURSION TO FARMING VILLAGE
Will you join us on an excursion to Farmer's Village? Boerendorp is a secret place in the Zuiderpark where a lot of vegetables are grown, especially for the food bank. The farmers could use some help. Will you come along and help us? Find out how sowing, planting and harvesting is done, and become a real city farmer for an afternoon! A MAGIC CLOSET
Huub managed to get his hands on an old cupboard via Marktplaats. Free to pick up, what a great deal!
But the cupboard has something strange: it is locked with a big chain and the key is lost... Will Huub and his audience manage to open the magic cupboard together? What would be in the cupboard and what do you do if it turns out to be enchanted?

TRAPEZESHOW
On Wednesday 9 August, there will be a real mini trapeze show on stage for the first time in cooperation with the Stork Pass. A show that brings together circus, theatre and music. It Happens... is a small insight into the life of circus and theatre artist Júlia. It Happens... is a dialogue between success and failure, beauty and shame, peace and frustration.
It Happens... shows that when everything seems to be going well, you probably overlooked something because nothing is perfect, nobody is perfect, it happens... Entrance €6 per person. Stork Pass free and Holiday Pass 50% discount (with code Holiday Pass23), do make reservations.
BLIZZARD IN AUGUST
Also coming to the theatre is the installation White Noise. We don't see the data and impulses that come flying at us through the ether and the air every day, but we let them come in. What would it look like, if it became tangible? In the installation White Noise by theatre-maker Tamar Blom and composer Janne Piksen, those impulses become concrete. You step into a white tunnel. You surrender to the wind, moving forward. A storm brews up. White Noise is a blizzard you must have experienced! Free entrance, no reservations required.
MEDITERRANEAN CHILDREN'S SONGS
On Thursday 10 August, after reading aloud in the hammock forest, you can walk with your mum or dad to our flat cart. There, Aymar Torres from The Hague will be waiting for you. He normally plays for all ages, but especially for the Holiday Park he will sing children's songs this morning. The musical language prodigy will take you on a journey through the Caribbean, South America and the Mediterranean. Start: 11.00 am, free entrance.
