South Park Holiday Park
For the ultimate holiday feeling, there is an ever-changing free* programme on Tuesdays, Wednesdays* and Thursdays for six weeks. Playing together, sports, performing, lazing, crafts, dancing and much more. The 'you-see-where-what-is-there-to-do' daily schedule is approachable, relaxed and inviting for all ages. Go for a spin together in the Relaxerette a Ferris wheel of chilly hammocks. Help build the bridge raft, play sports with Dennis, learn TikTokken with Amel, freestyle football or work on your DJ skills. The grounds transform into a festival area with children's craft garden, coffee bar, park library and unexpected performances. At the end of the afternoon, we close with a crazy children's disco. On the *Wednesday afternoon, the programme is different and features a cool show on the big stage. This summer, we present the Mad Science Show with various cool fun stations, the silent disco family experience A. Vontura and the T.E.I.T. Machine by Daan Draait, Keihard Vet by Vet Kindercabaret & KNALLEN! with 4BEAT. The popular bike tours with Piet Vernimmen are also on the agenda. Ticket sales for these activities have started.
Stage programme
Artists and cabaret performers of Dutch origin will be in Zuiderpark this summer. The renowned booking agency Greenhouse Talent presents these performances under the banner Zuiderpark Live! In July, Douwe Bob, Pink Project, Juf Roos, Milow, Rolf Sanchez, De Wolff, Son Mieux and Guido Weijers will take to the stage. For August, Sjaak Bral is the first confirmed name. The programme for August will follow at a later date, when more is known about the corona measures. The Residentie Orkest, Haags Beat Festival and the Musical Summer Concert also return this year.
Renewed site
In a unique spot in The Hague park, the theatre is located on an island. A natural setting under the trees, which feels like being very far away from the city. Thoroughly renovated this spring, the site is a place for young and old to meet in the open air.
Among others, the stage, grandstand benches, festival meadow and new bar containers have been renewed with tireless efforts of volunteers and financial support from The Hague Municipality and Rabobank. Crodino and Ruhrgold are new sponsors of the theatre.
