This time the edition will be dedicated to Soul Vibes. Thrilling funk by James Brown, soul classics by Stevie Wonder and sultry hits by Marvin Gaye will pass in review. The evening will be kicked off by upcoming soul sensation ParHasard. Steffen Morisson, Yerry Rellum, Michael Varekamp, Wiboud Burkens and The Legends will revive soul classics of yesteryear throughout the evening. DJs Alex Montoya & The Soulslammer from DJ collective Tabass-Co complete the evening, playing several times with a live saxophonist. | ABOUT THE ARTISTS ParHasard This upcoming five-piece band of brothers is storming all festivals in the Netherlands with their mix of 90s RnB/Soul/Funk. They have also already performed at the Hungarian festival Sziget. They grew up listening to D'angelo, Erykah Badu, John Mayer, Frank Ocean and Tupac. Musical legends who inspired them in the way they make music now. They are a true Spotify's sensation with Soul 'n the City. They love to share their love of soul and funk with the audience and make you shake your head and move your feet. In 2020, they released the EP FreakTourique. Steffen Morrison Steffen Morrison grew up with the tunes, moves & grooves of James Brown, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye. He also heard the harmonious tones of The Crystals, the rock & roll of The Stones and the lyrics of Lou Reed in his youth As a songwriter, he has a clear affinity with the music that once made the hearts and souls of many around the world beat. Authentically, his passionate and infectious performances surprise and seduce not only music connoisseurs. His look and sound appeal to a wide audience. Yerry Rellum Singer-songwriter Yerry Rellum began his musical journey in 2005 with the release of his first album 'Exception to the Rule' under his former stage name Caprice with French label Quantizers. From this, the album's single 'Insecure' was extremely well received in France. Shortly after the song's release, his career took off, performing at the prestigious North Sea Jazz festival in 2005 and 2006. In 2016, Yerry Rellum entered season 7 of The Voice Of Holland and reached the quarter-finals in February 2017. His single 'I Feel Love' gained worldwide acclaim. Michael Varekamp, Wiboud Burkens and The Legends Trumpeter Michael Varekamp and keyboardist Wiboud Burkens are The Legends. They have been creating and producing musical theatre performances in the Soul & Jazz genre since 2013. Their starting point is to highlight the popular names and tastemakers of these genres and use the life & times as a guide for swinging and inspiring performances. Tabas-co Tabass-co is an eclectic DJ collective that plays old and new vinyl at any occasion or venue you can think of. Over the years, they have played at a wide variety of parties and festivals, both nationally and internationally. Tabass-co consists of 3 DJs who each add a unique sound, ranging from Afro, Funk, Latin, Brazil to Nu Disco and Club sounds.
