The Hague-based artist Aymar Torres is a mix of cultures: an Aruban father and a Colombian mother, born and raised in Aruba, with a love of Latin music and Brazilian bossa nova in particular. Effortlessly, the musical language prodigy sings in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and Papiamentu. A performance by Aymar is like a journey through the Caribbean and Latin America, with forays into the Mediterranean.
