For the ultimate holiday feeling, visit the Zuiderparktheater throughout the summer holidays! There is an ever-changing free programme. The theatre island transforms into a festival area with children's craft garden, coffee bar, park library, performances, workshops, unexpected performances and special art installations.

You can always come and play, play sports, perform, lounge, do crafts or dance. Our 'you-see-where-what-is-there-to-do' daily schedule is approachable, relaxed and inviting for all ages.

This week's installation art? Snack gelok

Today is all about Suriname! Mookie will be there all day. Mookie is a radio producer, DJ, presenter/MC and entertainer in the broadest sense of the word. He will perform briefly, DJ and make music with you with the Seki Seki. You can also have your picture taken with the real Surinamese superhero Suriman and meet the writer of this comic (Renate Stüger). There will also be reading from Suriman, crafts, a performance* and we will end the day dancing under the stands with Mookie behind the turntable.
