Jazz, rock, songwriters, hip-hop, classical or musicals. All music styles are represented on Zuiderparktheater's calendar this summer. Besides the successful cooperation with Greenhouse Talent, the theatre presents concerts and festivals in collaboration with partners from The Hague. Including the Residentie Orkest Summer Concert, I Love HipHop festival with Stichting Aight, The Hague Beat Festival with Podium aan Zee, Musical Autumn Night with Markuszower Theaterproducties and Jazz in the Park with Michael Varekamp. Residentie Orkest summer concert
Like every year, the city orchestra presents a roaring summer concert. The musical programme has a sultry summer evening feel. With the seductiveness of Bizet's Carmen, a sweet-sultry Summer Evening by Delius, merry frolics in Milhaud's Scaramouche. And, finally, Grieg's Peer Gynt. Conducted by Conductor Sander Teepen and featuring guest artist saxophonist Femke Steketee. Sunday 28 August 2022, tickets €10,- p.p. Ticket sales start Tuesday 17 May at 10.00 am.
I Love Hiphop Festival
Once again this year, there is a fine collaboration between the Aight Foundation and the Zuiderpark Theatre. Of the total five-day festival, I love Hiphop festival will take up residence in the theatre for three days. Expect surprising acts from the urban music style, young talent from The Hague and stunning breakdance battles. Friday 29 July to Sunday 31 July, tickets early bird €10,- p.p. for a single day €15,- p.p. for two days. Ticket sales start 17 May at 10am.
Hague Beat Festival
Rinus Gerritsen, Loïs Lane, Peter Koelewijn, Rob Bolland, Nico Dijkshoorn, Erwin Nyhoff, Bintangs, Rocktown Buddies and more surprises. A resounding reimagining of The Hague Beat. A tribute to the artists who put The Hague on the map of pop music history forever. On Sunday 14 August, the festival will take place for the 4e time will take place. Musical Autumn Night
Nathan Markuszower Theatre Productions brings a musical concert for the third time. Musical Autumn Nights guarantees the perfect start to your theatre season. April Darby (The Bodyguard & Aida), Esmée Dekker (Rocky Horror Show & Evita), Tessa Sunniva van Tol (Tarzan & Anastasia), David van den Tempel (Titanic & Soldaat van Oranje) and René van Kooten (Evita & Titanic) will treat you to the best and most beautiful musical numbers from their own careers alternating with famous classics and new musical hits. Jazz in the Park
Together with programmer and musician Michael Varekamp, the Zuiderparktheater presents Jazz in the Park. For three evenings, you can hear a changing jazz repertoire that pushes the boundaries of the genre to the maximum. Young talent will make its appearance.
